Hosted by the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Okanagan Hockey Heroes Weekend will take place for the first time in Western Canada in Kelowna, BC June 10-12, 2016 at the Capital News Centre. The event offers participants an opportunity to play hockey with NHL alumni. Some of the greatest NHL heroes who have hit the ice for Heart and Stroke Foundation’s Hockey Heroes weekends in Canada include Ray Bourke, Denis Savard, Gary Roberts, Joe Nieuwendyk, and more. How it works
- Recruit a team of colleagues, friends or a mix of both, or join an existing team looking for players
- Each team is asked to raise a minimum of $16,000 to participate, or approximately $1,000 per person. The top fundraising team has first choice of NHL alumni players at the Friday night team draft.
A non-refundable $50 player registration fee is required.
This registration fee (self-donation) will be credited to your personal fundraising goal of a minimum $1000, and you will receive a tax receipt.
